STRATFORD NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondents.) Stratford ,Last Night. The aggregate for the best four rounds, medal play, for the season for the Stratford Golf Club was won by F. >l\ Uaiiacke with a score of 304. The scores of other players who qualified were as follows:—Dr. Menzies 307, F. H. Fussell 368, S. Spence 309, H. L. Betts 369, N'. Black 375, J. H. Thompson 380, and O. Vaughan 397. A general meeting of the Stratford Golf Club was held last night, when a resolution was passed confirming the action of the committee in negotiating with the Racing Club for a lease of the course as links.

The tender of Mr. N. King has been accepted by the A. and P. Association for the erection of a grand stand on the show grounds. I understand that the price was in the vicinity of £7OO. Whilst rinking last night Mr. F. Edwards, the well-known chemist, had the misfortune to fall and break his right wrist.

At the annual meeting of the W.Y.M.I. Tennis Club last night the following officers were elected:—President, Rev C. Harrison; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Masters, R. H. Cameron, J. W. Boon; committee, Messrs. J. Simmonds, G. Griffen, and D. Everiss.
