THE NEW YORK FRAUDS. New York, August 9. the effort to get at the bottom of the frauds perpetrated in connection with the United Wireless Telegraph Co. inspectors of the Post Office are carrying out what is undoubtedly the biggest investigation in the history of the service. According to three officials, the trial of the directors on the charge of defrauding investors, though fixed for November, will not take place until March next year. One of .the most amazing features of the case is the amount of wealth accumulated by a certain agent. This man, when he first went to Seattle, where he is well known, was, if not exactly penni- 1 much better off. Xow, however,! he is reported to be a millionaire thrice over.
