CONDEMNS FREEMASONRY. MISLEADING CABLES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, September 10. Cardinal Moran, in opening a new church, made a strong attack on Freemasonry. Referring to the paucity of news caibled regarding the Eucharistic Congress at Montreal, he declared that some misleading cables were sent to this country. This was evidence of the control of the press by continental Freemasons, and owing to their influence an event wherein the whole civiised world was interested, was so briefly mentioned. He warned people to lie on their guard regarding some of the cables sent from the Old World. i
