For United Kingdom (parcels only), at 5 p.m. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21. For United Kingdom, via Monte Video (for specially addressed correspondence only), due London November 3, per Turakina, from Auckland, at 6.1<5 THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22. For Australian States (due Sydney | September 27), United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (due London October 28), also Ceylon, India, Eastern and Mediterranean ports, at 6.15 a.m. For Auckland and North, per Rarawa, at 7 p.m. ; SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24. For Australian States and South' Africa, at 0.1 o a.m. For Wellington, per Rosamond, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, at 6.15 a.m. DEPARTMENT HOLIDAY. DOMINION DAY, SEPTEMBER 26. Monday, September 26, Dominion Day, iwill be observed as a close holiday by the Post Office in all its branches. A delivery of town correspondence will be made over the Post Office counter on Saturday, '24 th, from 8 p.m. till 9 p.m. No mails will be closed later than 7.15 a.m. The Telegraph Office will open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, and 7 p.m. till midnight. The Telephone Exchange will open as usual. The railway travelling post office will run as usual. Late-fee letter for north may be posted in the late letter box at the Railway Station untill arrival of mail train, as usual. W. J. CHANEY, Chief Postmaster.
