TRIAL OF SAVARKAR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Bombay,' September 16. The Advocate-General described Sav- ■ arkar, the extradited Indian student, as the ringleader of a conspiracy. He had dispatched twenty Browning pistols from England, and his agent was arrested' in Bombay in possession of a manual relating to bombs, besides seditious literature. Savarkar's brother wias undergoing a sentence for warring against the King Emperor.
