ST AUBYN TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the St. Aubyn Town Board was held on Tuesday, September 13. Present: The chairman (Mr. G. E. Blanc-hard), Messrs P. Lealand, H. Putt and W. J. Russell. Mr. F. Hodson sent an apology .for his absence. 'The clerk reported that he had taken tile census of the St. Aubyn town distract on 9th and 10th August, and the total number of inhabitants was 592. He had forwarded a statutory declaration to that effect to the Minister of Internal Affairs. The foreman's report of work done last month was read. A special meeting of the Board will be held on Wednesuriv, 21st inst., for the purpose of declaring certain weeds .noxious weeds in the town district. The chairman and Mr. Lealand were empowered to buy a safe.
