SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED IN LONDON. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright London, September 15. The King's Overseas Dominions Regiment entertained the officers and many men of the visiting Canadian Rifles. At the Banquet Colonel Sir Harry Pellatt, commanding the Canadians, dwelt upon the useful lessons to be derived from the visit. Sir George Reid emphasised the need of preparedness and unity of action throughout the Empire, always remembering the Empire's mission was one of peace. Lord Strathcona . said the meeting of the two corps would serve, to knit the peoples of the Empire in closer bonds.
