STRATFORD NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Stratford, Last Night. A mounted parade of the Stratford Mounted Rifles was held this afternoon, A match-between Stratford and New Plymouth ladies golf clubs will be played at Stratford on Saturday. ■ Mr. P. D. Lewers was a passenger by this morning's mail train, en route for, a trip to Sydney and Melbourne. Messrs. C. Jackson, C. and W. J. Speck left Stratford this morning' for Sydney, where they will take part in rifle shooting competitions. The annual- spring bulb show in connection with St. Andrew's Guild was held yesterday. The Stratford Electric Light Company have fixed a price for goodwill. A meeting of the Borough Council will toe held to-night to consider the setting up of a committee to hold a conference with representatives of the company.
