BIG OVERDRAFTS,

Mr. Lawrence Murray, United States Controller of Currency, addressing bank supervisors, declared that weak banks would be forced into liquidation to prevent the big overdrafts, which in June amounted to twenty-six millions. His office was unable to control the conditions.
