BIOGRAPH PICTURES. j The Biograpk Pictures at tlie Theatre Royal attracted a large audience last night, and the exceedingly fine series of films shown created a Igreat deal of interest. "The Twisted Trail" is a fine dramatic film dealing with episodes of American ranch life, and is instinct with animation and tender interest. The scenery shown is exceptionally romantic. "Paul Pry" is a comedy film of great merit showing what happened to the inquisitive person, and "Servants and Workers" is hilarious in its diversified comicality. An industrial film of special local interest is "Shooting an oilwell," and the drama "A mother's despair" is touching by reason of its human appeal. A splendid film is one showing the wonderful antics of some trained dogs. The films "Thou shalt not," The thread of Destiny," and the evergreen "Foolshead" and many others constitute _an entertainment that is bright, varied, and instructive.
