♦ NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. The following cases have been set down for the Mew Plymouth sessions of the Supreme Court, opening to-morrow (Tuesday) before Mr. Justice Edwards. CRIMINAL CASES FOR TRIAL. Rex v. Patrick Dale, charge of assault causing actual bodily harm. FOR SENTENCE. Rex v. John Withers, forgery and uttering, on committal troni Waverley; and forgery, on committal from Stratford. Rex v. James Bailey,' breaking and entering at Waitara, with intent to commit a crime. Rtx v. Henry Bailey, with several aliases, theft from a. dwelling at Waitara. CIVIL BUSINESS. Arthur Bell and others, (Mr. D. Hutchen) v. Jesse James Hill (Mr. H. R. Cooper), claim for £77 for rent in arrears, rates £l7 3s 7d, and £6ol> damages for breaches of covenant. Defendant counter-claims £l5O and interest at 6 per cent., claimed to be due under a mortgage. This case will be heard before a common jury of twelve. Willie 'Greenwood (Mr. Speiice) v. Defendant counter-claims for rtiund of £2o deposit paid on the car. | IN BANCO. . James Dunlop (Mr. Halliwell) v. Harry Eyre-Kenny and the Meremere Co-operative Dairy Factory Company, Ltd., motion for a writ ot mandamus. Robert Coleman and Fred Archer Coleman (Mr. C. H. Weston) v. Henry Samuel Fitzherbert and Louis Patterson, application for a writ of prohibition in connection with a case decided in the Magistrate's Court recently. IN DIVORCE. George Haslett'Mattock (Mr. Nicholson) v. Caroline Theresa Maud Mattock and John Cook (Mr. Johnstone), application for dissolution of marriage, with a claim of £SOO damages against co-respondent. This case will be heard before a jury of twelve to assess the damages. .Mary Bayly (Mr. Quilliam) v. Walter Bayly, application for judicial separation. ■ IN BANKRUPTCY. ■Re Charles S. Smith, of Hawera, tailor, creditors' petition for adjudication of bankruptcy. Applications for discharge for bankruptcy of William Russell Mackay and Albert Edward Madgwick. A number of matters are also set down for hearing in chambers.
