"TdiE BRASS BUTTLE." TO-NIGHT. Of the art that conceals art it is said there is not a little m "liie Brass I Bottle," the new farce-comedy that Air. i J. U. Williamson will present with a I new English company at the Theatre' Royal tliis evening at 8 o'clock. F.i Anstey, one of the best ''Punch" humourists, is credited with having evolveu an extraordinary farce-comedy in "The Brass Bottle." There is, it is -said, a curious mixture of mirth and mysticism with the modern resources of stage management pressed into the service to provide some striking suggestion of Oriental splendour. Tiie farce has been described hi previous issues. The piece will be presented by an entirely new company of English comedians. The leading roles will be taken by Mr. Lesi lie Holland, Mr. Evelyn Vernon (the 'Jinnie), Kenyon Musgrave, Fred Cambourne, Arthur W. Soames, Herbert Greville, Vincent Holman, Albert Fergusson, and Misses Dora Rignold, Sinaa St. Clair, Augusta Havilami, and Leal Douglas. A very pretty dance will be introduced by Miss Elsie Stevenson. Mr. Claude Vernon will produce the play, Mr. Maurice Dudley being the stage manager. The orchestra will be under the direction of Mr. Edgar Rice.
