, A WOODVILLE POLL. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Woodville, Last Night. A poll of ratepayers was taken on Saturday on a proposal to borrow .€12,000 for the purpose of establishing a drainage syst m throughout the borough. The proposal was carried by the small majority of 25 votes, the voting 'being: For the proposal 141. and against 11(1 There was great excitement in town all day over the polling. THE 'FRISCO SERVICE. Dunedin, Saturday. Several enquiries have already been received by the Union Company for storage space on the 'Frisco steamers. Allotment will he held over for a little to enable all interested to apply.
