Mr. 0. Schilsky, the examiner for Trinity College, arrives by the Rarawa this morning. Mr. E. G. Jellicoe (late of Wellington) contemplates a trip out to Zealand late in the autumn. Assistant-keeper Bennier, of Cape Egmont lighthouse has 'been appointed to the charge of the Cuvier Island lighthouse. Mr. J. Swanson, formerly of New Plymouth, is at present in Canada. He contemplates residing for the future either in Australia or New Zealand. Mr. W. G. Crawford, who was town clerk in Woodville. for many years but lately retired, celebrates hisgolden wedding to-day (Monday), states a Press wire. Mr. and Mrs. Crawford, who are still in the enjoyment of good health, were married at St. Pancras Church,. London, in 1860. Mr. Crawford and family went to the Woodville district over thirty years ago.
