£50,000 WANTED FOR JOHANNESBURG. By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright Received September 2, 10.30 p.m. London, September 2. The Daily Chronicle's Johannesburg correspondent Teports that some influential American organisers of the YJM.C.A. are attempting, to raise £50,000 in a fortnight to build and equip a branch association. They have secured the co-operation of two hundred merchants and financiers. A sum of £3OOO is being collected daily.
