PETROLEUM NEWS

The Taranaki Petroleum Company's manager, Mr. L. Keith, reported last night that at No. 3 bore oil had been flowing between the casings all day. Further developments of a satisfactory nature are expected to-day, when the lowering of the casing is complete. At No. 1. bore the work of casing the well is proceeding satisfactorily in difficult countiy. The flow of oil at No. 2 continues satisfactory.
