LABOR TROUBLES.
VIOLENT STRIKERS. * By Caoi*.—Press Association. —Copyright New York, August 31. Car strikers in Columbus, Ohio, dynamited three cars and injured four people. STRIKE OF LABORERS. PREMIER PLAYS STRONG HAND. Received September 1, 10.30 p.m. Adelaide, September 1. There is a strike, on the railway construction works over a reinstated ganger to whom the men objected. The trouble started some time ago. The Premier ordered an enquiry, which resulted in the exoneration of the ganger. The United Laborers' Union decided
that if the ganger was reinstated, an order to strike would be issued. When, the ganger returned to work to-day, one hundred laborers left. Others were found
to replace them. The Premier took a strong stand in the matter, and declared that as nothing, had been proved against the ganger the Government intended to stand by him. The Government was not going to be "bossed" by Lundie, president of the Laborers' Union. He added that Lundie's real object wasi to cause internal disruption in the Labor Party.
