The Times, commenting on peace in Nicaragua, v dwells on the importance of tlie Washington Convention, whereby the Central American Republics were pledged to non-interference with their neighbors' internal troubles. Formerly it was an inevitable sequel to disturbances in one State that all became embroiled. The Times adds that Mr. Knox's policy triumphed, and the disturbances were confined within Nicaraguari bounds by a strong display of force.
