A MINE FLOODED
WATER BEATING THE PUMPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The manager of the Kirdpaka mhe reported to-day that the water in the mine is still rising. According to his guage it is coming in three times as fasit as the pumps can cope with it. Pumping facilities in the mine have a capacity of 20,000 gallons per hour, buv the water is coming in at the rate of 60,000 gallons.
