ATTEMPTED TRAIN ROBBERY
THE ROBBERS SURPRISED. By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright New York, August 26. Eight highwaymen, by flag signalling, stopped an lowa Central trade outside Northwood. They covered the driver and fireman with revolvers, and began robbing the passengers! The train staff secured a revolver from a rear coach and turned the tables' on, the robbers, five being arrested.
