VERDICT OF THE CORONER.

As a result of the enquiry into the cause of the Richmond railway disaster, the Coroner's verdict is that Signalman McDonald, of South Yarra, erred in holding, up the Brighton train, but there was no evidence of wieked neglect and no evidence, of criminal neglect against anybody.
