ANOTHER MURDER IN AMERICA. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright New York, August 26. After the acquittal of Miss MeLoughlin, who shot a lover who had left her, Katie Freitach, the nineteen-year-old daughter of a well-to-do resident of New Orleans, killed her fiance, MicMor, alleging that he had betrayed her. Miss Freitach shot Michlor in a crowded street. Her trial is being delayed, the authorities fearing another acquittal under the unwritten law.
