By Telegraph. —Press Association, Wellington, Last Nignt In connection with the Anglican Mis' sion of Help, organised in England at the request of the Bishops of New Zealand, eight clergymen arrived by the Turakina from London to-day. Th« party consists of Canon Stuart, Eevs. Stuart, Fitzgerald, Rees, Kinloch, Darby, Evans, and Lillingston. Canon Stuart, the leader of the mission, said the great object of faieir work was to build up communicants ofj the church and try to influence those\ who never go to any place of worship. Before leaving England the Archbisfiopi of Canterbury expressed his great m-i terest in this important work. |
