Buchanan, George, Matthews, course committee; Messrs. nuchanan, Nosworthy, Telfar, George, Langman, Beckbessinger, and Matthews, committee; and stewards, the "committee with Messrs. Sarten, F. Last year's programme was adopted in toto. l"he club's financial position was shown to be good, the amount now due on the course being £220, whilst income to the amount of £l4l is due to the club. The Parihaka native footballers made ••a descent on Waitara yesterday, bringing a junior and senior team to play local teams. The Waitara juniors were too good for the visitors, winning by 17 points to 3. The senior game was a real good one, some fine football being shown. The local team were too heavy j in the pack for the'visitors, but in the | backs Parihaka showed up much better j than their opponents. The game was : witnessed by a large number of people and ended in a win for Waitara by the close margin of one point, the scores I being Waitara 12, Parihaka 11. I The Ivy Assemblies held another sue--1 cessful euchre party last evening.
