YOUNG WOMAN CONVICTED OF ARSON. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Christctarch, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day a young woman named Mary Pegley "was convicted of arson, and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, on condition that she remain in the Salvation Army Home lor three years. DLTNMDIN CONVICTIONS. Dunedin, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Ernest Augustus Corky, who was convicted on a charge of receiving goods, knowing them to (have been stolen, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. John Keen, a young man, wias convicted on a charge of indecently assaulting a young woman, and! sentenced .to two years'. Thos. MaeNamara and Joseph Francis Donnelly were convicted on a charge of robbery with violence, arid each was sentenced to four years. Jas. Lyndhurst was sentenced: to three years' on charges of theft and receiving stolen goods.
