"ALADDIN." This morning" at 8.30 the plans will be opened at Collier's for the only production of Mr. J. C. Williamson's enormously successful pantomime extravaganza, "Aladdin," which is to «h:.ged at the Theatre Royal on MonJ.t night Eext. Anticipating a large dcu..iad tor seats, the management will have its staff of ushei's in attendance from an early hour, whose duty .it will he to form a queue, so that the earliest arrivals can be assured of having the first choice of seats. The claim of the J. C. Williamson management that •'Aladdin" represents the pick of spectacular achievements from all parts of the globe, is bo false boast, seeing that Europe, America, Australia have ait supplied their quota of effects, while Asia *nd Africa are also represented in costumes and The balloon and flag are both New York inventions, procured by Mr. Gerald Coventry and Mr. J. 0. Williamson during their recent round-the-world tour. Germany made the beautiful costumes of the Australian bird ballet, which are of real feathers; the dresses for the floral procession come from London; while Australia supplied the effects for the magnificent fire ballet. One of the most sensational, and at the same time funniest turns in the pantomime is that performed by, Messrs. Price and Revost, a wonderful pair of acrobats. "Fun at a Turkish Bath" is one of the funniest'events in the pantomime. In good old innocent amusement the donkey takes a leading part, his final joke being to send the thermometer up until it bursts the bulb, and all the tethers come out parboiled. Turns, scenes and incidents, it is said, follow each other so rapidly that «ne Has scarcely time to' appreciate one effect before another is presented .
