BIOGRAPH PICTURE CO. The excellence of the entertainment given by the above company is having the effect of popularising the pictures considerably. There will be another change of films for the performance this evening, for which the management assert the pictures will be right up to the usual high standard of excellence. • s "ALADDIN." At Collier's to-morrow looming at 8.30, the plans will be opened lor the first and only representation to be given here on Monday night next of Mr. J. 0. Williamson's greatest of all pantomime successes "Aladdin." It is stated that the numerous enquiries which have been made in reference to the booking arrangements point to a record demand for seats. In order to obviate any crushing as far as possible, the management will have in attendance from an early hour a staff of ushers, whose duty it will be to form a queue, so tnat tnose attending earlies shall have first choice of seats. Everyone knows that the modern pantomime in its course of evolution lias come to include everything that has hit the public taste or amused-the public leisure in the course of a twelve month. Within the sweeping folds of its gor- | geous dragnet are to be found the tune of the moment, the dance, the topical allusion, the dialogue, I the stage picture, the ballet, and the , crowning scene, that between them wake . up what will not be found in any single drama, opera, or vaudeville entertaini ment. One of the biggest features in "Aladdin" is "The Living Flag of Au* itralia." Stage mechanism, it is staed, | is brought to a high pitch of perfection lin the production of this effect. As in I previous J. C. Williamson pantomime, there is abundant amusement provided for children. Principally amongst these litems are "The Donkey and the Demons," ' The Babies and the Bottle, i "The Billikens Ballet," and the Japanese doll dance. Positively only the one performance of "Aladdin" can be given in New Plymouth as the company will pro* 1 ceed on Tuesday next to Wanganui.
