COMMONWEALTH WILL HELP COMPANIES. . BIG BOUNTY FOR KEROSENE PRODUCTION. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received August 16, 12.55 a.m. Melbourne, August 16. Mr. F. G. Tudor (Minister for Trade and Customs) informed a deputation asking for a bonus for the development of the oil and shale industry, that the Government bad decided to introduce, in the near future, a Bounties Bill, pro-1 viding. a bonus of £IO,OOO a year for five years,, for the production of refined kerosene in Australia. The conditions are so framed that imported crude oil, refined in Australia, is not eligible lot the bounty.
