FIRES.
SAWMILL DAMAGED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Saturday. Mr. Osmond Butler's sawmill -'as seriously damaged by fire early this morning, the flames having a full hold before any .neighbours were aware of the fire. Most of the woodwork surrounding the machinery was destroyed, thereby injuring the plant. The insurance is in the Phoenix, bur, uie amount is not available. OUTBREAK IN DUNEDIN. Dujiedin, Last Night. •About 7.45 this morning «' lire out in a large building in North iJunedin, formerly known as the Wellpark Brewery, but now occupied by Wilson's Malt Extract Company. The fire had a good hold when discovered, but the brigade soon suppressed it. The building is owned by the Standard Insurance Company, and the stock, machinery, etc., is insured in the National office, the amount, it is understood, being £BOO. The amount of damage by fire is not yet known. !
