(During a charity congress, Madame Zasalavska, a Russian delegate, drew a dagger and rushed at the chairman. She was foiled and wounded a neighbour. She exclaimed, "(He prevented me speaking." Zaszlavska was .overpowered. She is mentally deranged, and was sent to the hospital.

Zaszlavska formerly attempted the lives of M. Casimir Perier. the French President, and Frau Ann Nunsterberg, wife of the Burgomaster of Berlin.
