THE JAMESON RAID. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, August 11. The Standard of Empire states that Dr. Jameson, speaking at Durban, outlined the history of his raid in 1895, and declared the object was not to upset the Transvaal Republic, but to make Lucas Meyer Dutch President.
