STRATFORD DAY BY DAY.
(Fron Our Own Correspondent.) Stratford, Last Night. The Stratford Mounted Rifles -will hold a parade on the 25th inst. In the evening foot drill, with rifle instruction,.will be held. The eight-year-old daughter of Mr. C. Jago, of Midhirst, was thrown from a horse yesterday and sustained a broken arm. The St. Andtews' Lawn Tennis Club's dance, held in the Town Hall last night, proved a most successful function. About seventy couples, including visitors from all parts of the district, were present. The chances of the local football team of carrying off the senior championship are being discussed to considerable extent. After the splendid game the forwards put up against the combined team, their prospects are considered to have improved. The general public, who are keen supporters of the game, hope that the Union will be able to get the Department to speed up Une afternoon train so «s to reach Erthajn at 3 O'clock.
