DISHONEST PORTERS
.ITALIAN GOVERNMENT'S BIG LOSS. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received August 10, 9.40 p.m. Rome, August 10. Two porters in'the Ministry of Public Works, using duplicate .keys of safes where tenders were stored, for many years supplied information to certain firms, who tendered slightly lower than others'. It is believed that the Government, through this, lost several millions.
