KILLED BY A BULL. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Westport, Tuesday. Michael Clancy, who was gored by a bull at Karamea, has died in the hospital. MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED. Wellington, Last Night. At noon to-day Sam .Smith, aged 21, a woodcarver by trad*, borrowed a friend's motor bicycle and started down Adelaide road. In OTder to avoid a dray, he swerved the bicycle to the side of the road, and then lost control of the machine, which dashed against a telegraph pole. Smith was thrown and seriously injured. He was removed to the hospital, which is close by, where an examination showed that his skull was fractured and that he was suffering from slight hemorrhage of the brain. His jaw has also been injured, and it is feared it has been broken. His condition is critical.
