On the whole there is a slight improvement during the week. Stocks of New Zealand on hand are heajy. The butter market is quiet, but moderate business is doing. Best qtt&Utlfe are getting very scarce. Siberia* is ft .good demand at 101s, Danish IBs. The cheese market is firm afljd supputs are decreasing. White 675; coined finds increasing demand at 565; Canadian 655. The hemp market is dull and very lfttle business is doing. New Zealanl good fair on spot £24, fair grade £2l ss. Forward shipments about tke same price. The stock of New Zealand!, hemp is 327 tons. Fair current Manila £2O, forward shipment £2O ss. The; output for the week from Manila waft 24,000 bales. The cocksfoot seed market is somewhat steadier, with better demand this week. Average bright, deli seed, weighing 17 lb. per bushel, ontgot, is bringing 04s. Wool—The Bradford tops market is active, with gqod demand.
