SEVERAL MEN BURNED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, August 7. A spark exploded the petrol on the unfortunate submarine Al at Portsmouth, while m dock, and two officers and five men w«re burnt and overcome by (fumes. They were unconscious for a long time. The coxswain was blown out of the hatchway and shot sixteen feet in the air. He broke a leg. Received August D, 1 a.m. London, August 8. The men injured in the submarine explosion have recovered consciousness and are progressing satisfactorily.
