Qualification for Hunters.—Races 1, '2. 4, 6, and 7 are deemed to be for horses that have ibeen regularly Ihunted with a recognised pack of hounds, and the Master's certificate for the season 1910 must be produced at the scales. Gentlemen riders only in races 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7. Emergency riders' licenses may be issued on day of races (fee ss) for these events. Definition' of a Hack.—A hack is a horse which has not at any time prior to time of entTy of nomination won a race of the value of 100 sovs to the winner; or races of the aggregate value o* 260 sovs to the«winner. Scratchings.—All persona intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary one half-hour before the official time for starting the race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, to be imposed by the Stewards,, not exceeding 20 sovs, to the Bace Fund.
