The Oddfellows' .Lodge held a very successful dance in the Foresters' Hal' last night. ? I hear that Dr. Paget and Mr, J. Ma£kay have purchased the vacant section On the corner'of Broadway and Regan street, facing the Loan and Mercantile offices. The price has not transpired, but I' understand that' it was in the vicinity of £2OOO. • The Lowgarth Dairy factory reopened yesterday to receive milk. ' ■• ■'•<
Mr. J. Halligan, who succeeds Mr. Otway as inspector of-stock in the district, arrived in Stratford last night. Mr. J.
