PETROLEUM NEWS.
For a period short of five weeks No. 2 oil bore at Moturoa has given 21,000 (gallons of oil. The manager has 00 barrels of oil ready to fill the order of the New Zealand Railway Department. The derrick at No. 4 will be completed on Tuesday or Wednesday next, and the 8-inch casing will be removed and used in No. 1. •No. 3 yesterday spurted oil over the top of ttiie derrick. Sand pumping is proceeding in order to clean the bore for further boring.
