WAWXGONA. A euchre party and dance was held on Friday last, but owing to unsettled weather the attendance was only moderate. At the conclusion of the games it was found that several ladies and several gentlemen had tied for first places, and these played again, with the result that Miss Petersen carried otf the ladies' prize, a and Mr. Bine the genttt'em«a's prize, a leather collar-box. Our local debaters are making arrangements far a concert in connection with their society, items to be supplied by the members. A draw was recorded in the voting last (Monday night on the debate by the ladies on "Should the Bible be introduced into state schools?'
