The Liberian Minister in London declares that Britain, France, and Germany view favorably Washington's friendly assistance in straightening out Liberia's finances and settling with'creditors. Ha was officially assured that the United States doe's not contemplate a protectorate of Liberia, and is not actuated by territorial or political motives.
