The Industrial Court dismissed the Colliery Employees' Federation's application for the dissolution of the Northern Collieries Wages Board. The president, in giving judgment, said it was admitted that the whole object was to get rid of Paterson, the emrepresentative. He came to the conclusion that a sufficient case had, not been made out to justify him in holding an investigation into PateTSon's conduct in order to find out whether he was incapable or had been guilty of misconduct and prevarication.-
