EFFECT OF THE COAL STRTKE. Received Jnlv 28, 8.20 p.m. Sydney, Last Nislit. At the half-yearly meeting of the Gaslight Company the chairman stated that the floal strike cost the company £70,000 as a result of the high price of coal.
