ANGLO-JAPANESE EXHIBITION

THE NEW ZEALAND PAVILION. London, May 27. A surprise visit was paid to the New Zealand pavilion at the ' Japan-British Exhibition on Wednesday by Prince Fushimi, of Japan, who was accompanied by Count Mutu. Lord Desborough, Sir John Cockburn, Mr. Imre Kiralfy, and several other gentlemen connected with the Japanese Embassy in London. The Prince made a lengthy tour of the pavilion. "Splendid fellows," was his comment o.n the Maoris. He was 'greatly interested in Mrs. Neilsen's collection of kauri sum specimens, and in the sporting trophies on the walls.
