A sufficient number of pupils having signified their intention to attend the wool-classing school, it lias been arranged to open on Monday morning next in Mr. James' wool store on West Quay, at 10 o'clock. Mr. McGregor, the instructor, proposes on that day to give a general lecture to farmers on wool classing and sorting. .Anyone interested is welcome to attend at the opening, which will not form part of the class, but is being held with a view to arousing some interest. The fee for pupils is fixed on a very low scale, the charge for a class not under fifteen being 10s for ten weekly lessons of two hours; for a class not fewer than ten the fee is 15s, and for not fewer than five a charge of 30s. Particulars can be obtained from Mr. 'l'. Buchanan, secretary of the school committee.
