SEALING IN NORTHERN SEAS

Mr. Nagel, Uiiited States Secretary of Commence, in connection with the enforcement of the Congress law, has ordered the killing of superfluous male seals, considering this was the best means of conserving the herds. The Secretary's action is criticised, despite the support given it by the chief authorities on seal life.
