FALL FROM A WAGGON.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Yesterday,
R. James, injured through a fall from a waggon at Rangiora on Monday, died without having regained consciousness.
AX ENGINE-DRIVER'S DEATH,
Christchurch, Last Night,
On Wednesday afternoon Hugh Paterson, engine-driver at the Springfield coal mine, fell down a shaft, a distance of eighty feet, and sustained injuries from which he died.
