In the House of Commons sir E. Carrington. in reply to Mr. Shuttleworth, says that eight animals on a mrui in Kirkby Malzeand, Yorkshire, were suffering' from foot and mount disease.. The movement of all the animals over the wide surrounding area was prohibited. The iocal authorities throughout Britain were warned that foot and mouth disease had reappeared in England. The Board of Agriculture's chief veterinary officer is proceeding to Yorkshire to' advise as to what steps are necessary to cope with the disease.
