An excellent programme lias been arranged, consisting of songs, instrumental items, and the two little comedies, 'Browne with an 'E'" and "Mrs. Hilary Regrets." Both these are very amusing plays, and on the last occasions, when played here by the local amateurs they were very well received. The concert items will consist of a pianoforte solo by Miss Aileen Warren, vocal and instrumental quartets, and songs by Misses « ard and Clarice Buckman and Mr. Stevens. Miss Buckman, who is verv shortly joining J. C. Williamson's Opera Company in Sydney, is singing, by special request, Alfred Hill's delightful "Waiattt Poi song. The proceeds of the entertainment are to help to defray the initial expenses of the society's production of Dorothy."
