THE HARBOR BILL.
A NEW PLYMOUTH DEPUTATION. By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A deputation from the New Plymouth Harbor Board waited on Mr. Millar today to urge that the old rating powers (ratepayers' franchise) of the Board sh'ould not be interfered with under the new Harbors Bill. Mr. Millar said no exceptions could be made, but promised to consult Cabinet as to whether boards having ratine; powers could not be left out of the Bil!.
